TUN Day 14-16: 10-12/02/09 - Train

And so began the train journey that lasted over 30 hours that took us from Kunming to Hangzhou. Thanks to 恒丰 who arranged the tixs for us. It was nearly impossible to get the tixs during this period because a lot of people were on the move returning to their workplaces from their hometowns. The tixs that we got were the soft sleeper seats cause the hard sleeper seats were sold out, so they were much more ex too. 700+ for a tix. There were 4 beds in a cabin, so I was sleeping at the top bunk and Junyuan was below me. The bed beside Junyuan was occupied by this mother and daughter who were done visiting the mother's hometown, which explains the bear.

So it took us 30+ hrs before we finally reached Hangzhou in the wee hours of that Thursday with 恒丰 and 雯雯 picking us up from the train station and that concludes this Trip Up North.
